Jávea is located in the north of the province of Alicante, between the Cabos de San Antonio and La Nao. The Montgó mountain prevents Jávea from the continental winds and it enjoys warm weather the whole year round, with an average of 18°C. It is also a town with great culture, which can be seen in its traditions and festivals like St John’s eve (Hogueras de San Juan), Moors and Christians (Moros y Cristianos) or celebrations in the Virgen de Loreto’s honor. The historical center keeps its particular street’s zigzagging network of white façades, Tosca stone porticos and gothic large windows. In the lively fishing harbor, the local fishermen unload and sell their fish every day at the fish market. The marine neighbourhood and the Arenal seafront with lots of boutiques, bars and restaurants are all leisure time zones where our visitors will find it easy to relax and enjoy the typical gastronomy.
